Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Power Throughout Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have come under increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced problems to water supplies, per reports from local authorities.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified assaults on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the major economies - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing penalties," was stated in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets attacked the country's power systems, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were striving to repair systems.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the strikes on the city have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.

Regional authorities said the urban area experienced significant strikes overnight. A young boy was killed and multiple civilians were injured.

The attacks succeed periods of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to identify.

Government officials told reporters that Moscow was deliberately attempting to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already impacting energy systems.

Officials stated technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for further attacks.
